Dear colleagues and friends of the Sociology department,

This is a friendly reminder that our first meeting of the department seminar series will take place TODAY at 4 p.m. in PH-110. We will have Tami Ozery from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as our speaker. She will be discussing law and political economy in China's new era. Please find more details in the flyer below. 

This meeting will primarily be in-person (food and beverages will be served!). As we kick off the Sociology Department Seminar Series, there is nothing better than seeing our community back on campus together and engaging with each other. We strongly encourage you to attend the seminar in person. 

If you are unable to come in person, you can also join the talk via Zoom. However, please note that the seminar room is not equipped for virtual meetings, so there may be limited capacity for Zoom participation.
