Hi All, 

The next speaker for our seminar series will be here tomorrow, Wednesday October 23rd. We will be hosting Henry Gomory, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an incoming Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California (USC). His talk, "Racialized Rents: White Ownership of Rental Housing in Majority-Black Neighborhoods in Four Metro Areas," analyzes the scale and implications of white ownership of rental housing in Black neighborhoods. He leverages a novel dataset that traces through shell companies to identify the racial identities of the owners of 43 million rental units in four metro areas.
