Dear colleagues and friends,
We are excited to announce that the
fourth meeting of the Sociology Department Seminar Series will take place on
Wednesday, November 15th (in two weeks’ time) at 12:15
p.m. in the
sociology department lounge.
Our very own
Dana Weinberg will be
the speaker. Her
presentation is entitled “The Antisemitic Language Game: Dog Whistles and Conspiracy Narratives on Social Media.”
This meeting will be in
hybrid mode. We encourage you to attend the seminar in person (food and beverages will be served!). But if you are unable to come
in person, you can still engage in the talk via the chat function on
Zoom.
The link, as always, is
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82000826461?pwd=UloxNHlnSFFCQXBNMjN6WXlSWTF3UT09 and the passcode is: 460767.
Please note that the talk originally scheduled for November 8th has been postponed to November 29th. The
updated schedule is attached.
We look forward to seeing many of you
in two weeks’ time. We will, of course, circulate a reminder a week ahead of the talk.
Sincerely,
Anna, Christine, Peter & Yinxian
