The Consumer Research Insights Manager conceptualizes, develops, and conducts primary and secondary research to develop insights that shape various departmental objectives. Evaluates programs and business priorities to identify improvements and to measure outcomes. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline consumer insights processes and develop new procedures that support the business unit/department. Leads and collaborates on the development of a research agenda to address the critical questions or provide key data required to support an Association priority. This role specifically focuses on supporting AARP’s Financial Resilience strategy which includes Social Security, saving and planning (retirement and non-retirement), fraud, and work/job issues.
