The W.E.B. Du Bois Fellowship in Support of Diversity and Inclusion is now accepting applications through
March 14, 2025
In partnership with the American Association of Public Opinion Researcher (AAPOR), the
Roper Center for Public Opinion Research is seeking a graduate student to assist with the development of educational materials. This fellowship is open to graduate students currently enrolled
in a U.S. college or university and is focused on students who identify as a member of a racial or ethnic minority group that has been underrepresented in the field of polling research.
Fellowship efforts are primarily focused on the development of introductory-level instructional materials in public opinion survey research for use by educators. In exchange for roughly 10 hours of effort per week, W.E.B. Du Bois Fellows receive a $5,000 stipend
for the summer and a complimentary AAPOR membership. Fellows will also participate in weekly conversations with leaders in the field of polling research. The entire Fellowship program is conducted remotely.
Interested in applying for the W.E.B. Du Bois Fellowship? Applications are due via email to
bmp6@cornell.edu by Friday, March 14th, 2025.
