M. Davis and Company, Inc. (MDAC) is looking for a conscientious Researcher with attention to detail. Ideal candidate will have a background in the social sciences and/or market research. The Researcher helps plan and execute surveys and evaluations, analyze statistical data and develop insightful communication to support clients during their decision making process regarding program design and evaluations, customer research and satisfaction. The successful Researcher will be able to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and strategies designed to achieve client/project objectives.

• Assist in the development and implementation of data collection plans in various areas including housing, health care and transportation
• Support the quality assurance, coding, editing and analysis of data
• Interpret data, consolidate resultant information into actionable items, reports and presentations, and make recommendations
• Compile and analyze statistical data
• Write components of monthly reports, final reports and presentations

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Proven research analysis experience
• Proposal writing experience a plus
• Master’s or PhD degree preferred
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
