Good Afternoon, Student Leaders. Mind, Body and Soul is a week of wellness and self-care designed to assist Queens College students as they move into the final weeks of the fall semester. These programs are free and registrations are required. Link to register: https://forms.gle/hYEa3V3x3sXGpBMGA Activity and workshop descriptions: Monday, 11/30, at 12:15pm Guided Art Meditation & Yoga Description: Indulge in mid-day relaxation through a guided art meditation and yoga practice. Monday, 11/30, at 5pm Spirituality & Wellness Description: What does Spirituality have to do with wellness: a discussion regarding various religious practices and wellness. Tuesday, 12/1, at 12:15pm Spa Morning: Spa Face Mask Making Description: We will demonstrate how to make three different masks using household items: The Organic Banana Mask, The Breakfast Mask, and The Honey Citrus Mask. Wednesday, 12/2, at 12:15pm Healthy Eating Description: Learn how to take care of your body through physical activity and healthy eating. Recipes and physical exercises will be offered as part of the discussion. and Student Association Announces Their Grand Prize Winner! Description: It's time to announce the winner of the QC Miles 4 Week Challenge. The grand prize is an Apple watch and a second prize for the runner-up will also be revealed. Find out if you've won, and how to enter the next challenge! Wednesday, 12/2, at 6pm Stress Management Workshop Description: Take a break and have a conversation with your peers about the things stressing you out and learn ways to de-stress mentally during finals. Thursday, 12/3, at 6pm Draw It Out: Relaxation through Art Description: Jan Arzooman will share with you some techniques to calm your mind. You bring the paper, pencil and a fine point marker OR a smooth flowing pen of any kind and Jan will show you how to let go of the stress. No previous experience necessary. Friday, 12/4, at 11am Sound Bath Experience Description: Let Greg Prasker from Wolfpack Ascension take you on a sound healing journey as he channels divine energy to help you remove obstacles and manifest spiritual wellness.
