[Club_leaders_2020-2021 0236] Important: Your club/organization need to complete SPARC ASAP!!!!
Good day all, Effective immediately, all Payment Request, Room Reservation, and your budget will be frozen until your organization full e-board completes their SPARC. Please follow the information below. If you do not have access to SPARC, please email your EMPLID# for access to maria.fosco@qc.cuny.edu<mailto:maria.fosco@qc.cuny.edu>. If you are an e-board member of a club/organization, Student Association, and Greek Letter Organization you are among those students who are required to complete SPARC. CUNY has implemented a new training program called SPARC (Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course) to provide students with this training. New York State Education Law 129-b, also called the Enough is Enough (“EIE”) statute, requires that all NYS colleges provide students with ongoing education and training about sexual misconduct, including domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual harassment, gender-based harassment and sexual violence. SPARC is an online training module developed by SUNY in collaboration with CUNY that educates students* about sexual misconduct, ways to prevent it, and the campus’ response to a complaint. The content has been customized to reflect New York State requirements and CUNY policies. Please go to your CUNYBlackboard student checklist where you will find a direct link to SPARC. The training should take about 30 minutes to complete and should be taken on devices with a tablet size screen or larger. You can directly locate the course by clicking on the link: https://bbhosted.cuny.edu/webapps/portal/execute/tabs/tabAction?tab_tab_group_id=_49_1<http://cunyqcretain.askadmissions.net/admin/Communications/ClickThru.aspx?qs=_L1u9uKBQXB9PE4-_nKBClSS-rQo7lY5LU8nsTthkFf3yd-QesbzqX7xlnH1Jr7ck><https://bbhosted.cuny.edu/webapps/portal/execute/tabs/tabAction?tab_tab_group_id=_49_1%3chttp://cunyqcretain.askadmissions.net/admin/Communications/ClickThru.aspx?qs=_L1u9uKBQXB9PE4-_nKBClSS-rQo7lY5LU8nsTthkFf3yd-QesbzqX7xlnH1Jr7ck%3e>. Once logged in, go to “My Organization” and click on “Queens College Students SPARC Spring 2021”. Please be advised that it may take up to 3 business days to be removed from your checklist after you have completed the training. Please screenshot your Completion Certificate and your organization name in the subject by email it by Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 at 11:59 PM to studentlife@qc.cuny.edu<mailto:studentlife@qc.cuny.edu>.
