Good Afternoon, Student Leaders. Mind, Body and Soul is a week of wellness and self-care designed to assist Queens College students as they move into the final weeks of the spring semester. These programs are FREE and registration is required. Monday, 4/26, at 5pm Wellness & Spirituality Description: What does Spirituality have to do with wellness: a discussion regarding various religious practices and wellness. Wednesday, 4/28, at 12:15pm Healthy Bodies through Nutrition Description: Learn how to take care of your body through physical activity and healthy eating. Recipes and physical exercises will be offered as part of the discussion. Wednesday, 4/28, at 5pm Healing Conversations Description: Take a break and have a conversation with your peers about the things stressing you out and learn ways to de-stress mentally during finals. Thursday, 4/29, at 12pm Spa Face Mask Making Description: We will demonstrate how to make three different masks using household items: The Organic Banana Mask, The Breakfast Mask, and The Honey Citrus Mask. Thursday, 4/29, at 6pm Draw It Out: Relaxation through Art Description: Jan Arzooman will share with you some techniques to calm your mind. You bring the paper, pencil and a fine point marker OR a smooth flowing pen of any kind and Jan will show you how to let go of the stress. No previous experience necessary. Friday, 4/30, at 11am Sound Bath Experience Description: Let Greg Prasker from Wolfpack Ascension and Spiritual Badasses take you on a sound healing journey as he channels divine energy to help you remove obstacles and manifest spiritual wellness.
