Good Morning, Student Leaders! In addition to the CUNY LGBTQI+ Leadership Program, CUNY has launched the CUNY LGBTQI+ Advocacy Academy. There is a limited number of students that can be accepted for this first Academy cohort (10-15). The students accepted into the Academy will be offered: * a monthly stipend ($50) and a $250 stipend upon completion. * a stipend for 1st and 2nd place projects at the end for those who have the best previously agreed upon projects. * an opportunity to be mentored in their study/major or interest. * connected with Internship opportunities with well known LGBTQI+ businesses and organizations in both the profit and non-profit sectors. * understanding advocacy in local and state government and more.
