Dear
students
We want to make you aware of an exciting opportunity to host Queens College
interns this summer, at no cost to you: CUNY Recovery Corps!
A partnership between CUNY and New York City, the CUNY Recovery Corps has created opportunities for 5,000 CUNY students to join efforts to meet the challenges
faced by our community’s small businesses, public health organizations, community-based non-profits, schools, universities, and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic. This summer, CUNY students will continue to write their history of service to this city as
they help revitalize, reinvigorate, and rebuild NYC.
We are currently recruiting partners that are interested in hosting Queens College interns this summer!
Employers pay nothing to participate in the program or for intern wages. It’s also an opportunity to build awareness about your organization among the largest talent pipeline in New York City. Some important program details:
•
Internships start July 2021 and run for 6 weeks (25 hours per week)
•
Rate of pay is $15 per hour, paid by the City of New York
•
Work opportunities may be remote, in person, or utilize a hybrid model
•
Priority will be given to organizations able to take on at least 2 students
