The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and Deloitte LP are pleased to announce The Jorge Caballero Student Leadership Award $10,000 scholarship. Applications will be accepted from eligible undergraduate accounting students that attend a 4-year, HACU-member institution and have until August 24, 2018, 5:00 p.m. CST to apply (https://www.hacu.net/hacu/Leadership_Award.asp). The awardee will be sponsored to attend the HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute of HACU’s 32nd Annual Conference, Oct. 6-8, 2018, in Atlanta, GA., and will be recognized with the award during a luncheon event of the Annual Conference. The eligibility requirements include: • Accounting major with a definitive plans to meet the 150 hour requirement for obtaining CPA certification • 3.3 GPA or above • Full-time student attending a 4-year college or university, that is a HACU-member institution • Sophomore or Junior classification graduating between 2021-2022 • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident • Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in future employment with Deloitte as part of being considered for the scholarship will have the opportunity to receive a paid internship with Deloitte. ​
