The FDA process requires financial statement analysis, the review and entering of financial statement data into the database, and performing accounting adjustments to the financial data per methodology requirements. The FDA will have to liaise with analysts, outsourcers, and accounting specialists in order to understand the rated entities in the portfolio. FDAs regularly interact with Moody's Analysts with regards to financial data needed for analysis and publications. The team is responsible for learning and understanding financial statements. In addition to regular daily responsibilities, FDAs will have the opportunity to work on new projects. The team is regularly provided with valuable training classes and interaction with Analysts as part of career growth.
