[AccountingUndergraduateStudents 0003] Attention Accounting Graduating Seniors-An opportunity to take a graduate course
Dear Graduating Seniors: Many of you have contacted me inquiring as to whether you can take a graduate course while still being an undergraduate student. Usually I do not allow this, but this semester there is a unique opportunity for a few highly qualified students to take a course in the Accounting Masters program, specifically, Risk Management 706, which is now a required course in our program. The course is given on Thursday evenings, starting this Thursday. In order to be eligible, here are the requirements: 1. You must be graduating this semester as an Accounting major, or a second degree student completing your undergraduate core courses this semester. 2. Your overall GPA must be 3.3 or better. 3. You must intend on applying to the masters program for entry in the fall or summer of 2012. 4. You must not need these three credits to fulfill any undergraduate major requirements and/or reach the required 120 credits needed for graduation. If you qualify, e mail me immediately, or come to my office (PH 215) tomorrow (Tuesday) after 1 PM. If I decide to allow you to take the course, and you complete it successfully, the course will need to be transferred to your graduate record once you are in the masters program. I look forward to hearing from those students who are interested. Have a good semester. Professor Milich
