If interested, fill out http://bit.ly/TalentPrep This individual will assist Accounting Department staff with record keeping, data entry, and organization of records. Filing / Documentation Maintenance * Prepare general ledger binders for all NOITU (National Organization of Industrial Trade Union) entities. * File supporting documentation in appropriate binders. * Transfer non-current data for basement storage. Data Entry and Analysis * Assist Cash Receipts and Accounting Teams with manual data entry tasks, including but not limited to cash receipt records, payroll audits, accounts payable, financial analysis and year end closings. Record Organization * Organize Accounting Department records by document type in accordance with NOITU’s record retention policy at the direction of the Assistant Controller and department staff. * Digitize records designated as permanent in a clear, organized fashion in the Accounting Department’s shared network drive. Work Experience / General Requirements: * Professional appearance and strong, positive work ethics. * Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Language(s): * English required. * Spanish preferred. Other Skills / Abilities: * Proficient in Microsoft Office Products. * Completed at least 9 credits of Accounting coursework. * Must excel in written and verbal communication. * Ability to communicate effectively with staff within the Department.
