The fall semester is rapidly approaching.  My records indicate that several of you have still not registered for classes.  Please do not delay. We are offering a full complement of both on line and in person classes.  Please do not request over tallies.  Register for open sections as soon as possible. If you have any questions about registration, please reach out to your Accounting Advisor directly.

For those of you who are graduating this fall semester and intend to continue in one of our graduate programs, this is your last opportunity to register for a graduate class as an undergraduate.  Follow the instructions in my prior email and contact me directly if you are interested.

If you need personal advisement or just want to stop in to say good-bye, I will be in my office in PH 215 one last time on Tuesday, August 23 from 1-4 PM.  It would be great to see you in person.  As of the Fall semester Professor Amy David will be the new Deputy Chair for Advisement.  In addition, Professor Fang Sun will be the new 2nd Degree and Option 1 Advisor.  Professor Sun will also be the new Director of the MS in Accounting program, and Professor Terry Balkaran will be the Director of the new Masters in Taxation program. I know you will enjoy working with all of them.

It has been an honor and a privilege being the Deputy Chair of Advisement for the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, especially during these difficult times. I hope I have somewhat helped you navigate your way through the major, and I only wish you future success in both your professional and personal lives.
