World of Work visit to Canon USA For all accounting and business majors: World of Work is having a site visit to Canon Headquarters. World of Work is a program whose purpose is to connect accounting and business students and professionals. To provide students with this exposure, World of Work coordinates site visits to various business and accounting firms throughout the semester. The site visit to Canon will be on Friday, February 26 from 10am-noon at the Canon headquarters in Melville. This visit will consist of a showroom tour of Canon products as well as a panel discussion with various professionals from Canon's Accounting, Budgeting, Risk Management, Tax, and Consolidations groups. In addition, there will be a representative from H.R. that will speak about different internship and job opportunities that Canon provides for business and accounting backgrounds. This is a great way to learn about opportunities in private accounting as well as networking with professionals in your field of study. The due date to apply to this event is Friday, February 19.
