On November 14, 2018 the students of Queens College have an opportunity to attend the NYS Society of CPAs (Nassau Chapter) annual Student CPA Fest. It will be held at the Chateau Briand, 440 Old Country Road in Carle Place, New York. Students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops that discuss how to land an interview, how to network with confidence as well as information about the CPA exam and the recent changes. The workshops will be followed by a Job Fair, where students will meet representatives of Accounting firms, many of whom will be looking to hire. Students should dress professionally and bring resumes. Attached is a flyer with all the relevant information. Students can register (and pay the $10 fee) online using the link provided. Dinner will be provided. We look forward to seeing many QC students at the event.
