Transitioning from Student to First-Year Associate with EY
Our
next major professional speaker event, "Transitioning from Student to
First-Year Associate with EY" will feature Elizabeth Moskovic, Assurance
Associate at EY and Joe Wehle, Campus Recruiting Manager at EY.
Your
first year at your internship or full time career out of college can be
challenging, and for most students, it's definitely a sudden shift in
mentality, emotion, and pace. Many obstacles that didn't matter to you
before may suddenly become pivotal or the inverse may be true as well,
and at the end of the day, your performance when you start at your
internship or full-time job will set the course for your career.
Both
Elizabeth and Joe are QC alum and know exactly what it's like to
graduate from the academic environment and transition into the working
world, and we would love for each of you to join us and learn the best
strategies to succeed as you launch your careers!

Beyond Financial Risk: Internal Audit with KPMG
On Thursday, May 7th,
we will be hosting our last professional speaker event of the semester,
"Beyond Financial Risk: Internal Audit with KPMG" featuring Tanya
Olmedo, Kenroy Ellis and How-Jeng Lawn, all from the Advisory practice
at KPMG.
Internal
auditors deal with issues that are fundamentally important to the
success of any business organization. Unlike external auditors, they
look beyond financial risks and consider wider impacting issues such as
reputation, growth, and other non-financial factors. Come and learn
what the differences are between external and internal audit and how
these factors affect a company's success.
Also, find out how you can pursue a career in internal audit and how these trajectories develop into future opportunities.
