Subject: ****CPA Exam Discussion Panel with NYSSCPA - Monday @ 6pm
ALPFA QC will be hosting 2 speakers from the New York State Society of CPAs. The topic of discussion will be the CPA examination. The speakers will be discussing the importance of this certification in the accounting industry, their own experience with the exam, and the requirements for taking the exam and getting certified.
Speakers: Melissa Hicks, CPA - Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP Wei Xu, CPA - Tax Senior at Grassi & Co.
Please note that both of these professionals are from firms that recruit on our campus. So this is a good networking opportunity.
The event will be held this Monday (4/28/14) in the evening (6pm). The location is Kiely Hall Room 319. Free kosher pizza and beverages will be served.
