Dear Students: As a reminder, when preparing your schedule for the Fall semester please remember that you have the opportunity to participate in the accounting internship elective. This course will fulfill your 'Elective A' requirement for graduation. If you maintain a B GPA and anticipate having senior class status as of the Fall 2013, please read the attachment. This elective is a wonderful opportunity to participate in the accounting profession and at the same time receive college credit for your efforts. As the attachment indicates, this elective is available only for the Fall and Spring semesters. I will be responsible for registering students, and I will do so during the Summer. Internships are available throughout the metropolitan area and you can find them using internet resources, contacts you may already have in the accounting profession or through career services in Frese Hall. If you belong to any of the business clubs on campus, ALPHA, NABA or ASCEND, they are also a wonderful resource for internships. Please email me with any questions.
