Dear Second Degree Undergraduate Accounting Students: Due to a change in University policy, you may now take up to 12 graduate credits (in specified courses) as a second degree undergraduate, and use these credits for both your undergraduate and graduate degrees. Yes, you heard me correctly. "Double Dipping" is now legal. In effect, this means that you can earn your graduate degree by taking as few as 18 additional credits after completing your undergraduate degree. I know that many of you, who I fondly call my Option II students, had no intention of continuing on to the Masters. However, this may change your mind. If your cumulative GPA is 3.2+, you will be invited to join the program after you file for graduation. No application is even necessary. If you have the requisite GPA and want to start taking graduate courses in the Spring, contact me via email, or simply come in and see me on January 11 or 25 from 3-7 in PH 215. Second degree students obviously have substantially more total credits than required when including their first degree in the credit count.
