Dear Undergraduate Accounting Majors:

We hope you are enjoying the last days of your summer break. Fall classes commence on Thursday, August 25. As some of you may know, as part of the QC strategic plan in establishing its new School of Business, the degree awarded for all Accounting graduates has now been changed from a Bachelor of Arts degree to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. This change will be to your advantage as the BBA degree is a more nationally recognized degree among business programs.

This change will have no effect on your major or school wide requirements for graduation. You are bound by the required courses and rules in place at the time of your matriculation here at Queens College.

Degree Works is in the process of updating the new major for all of our students. If you don’t see it on your page, please be patient; it will be corrected shortly.
