This event is for accounting, finance, and business students who are searching for career opportunities and are looking to gain a competitive edge in today’s job market. It is specifically geared toward students who plan to attend the 2015 ALPFA Convention** or similar events. However, the content of this event is valuable to anyone. We will prepare you by giving you insights on what to expect and provide workshops to clarify topics that we know are essential to maximizing your success.
The event is broken up into three rotating workshops: RESEARCH, IMAGE, APPROACH Professionals from EY, JP Morgan, and AXA Advisors will be leading the workshops. We will teach you how to research companies, how to dress professionally to obtain the image that recruiters are looking for, and how to approach large events such as conventions and career fairs to secure job opportunities for yourself.
Other professionals from various firms will be in attendance to network and speak to students. You must RSVP to attend the event. The dress code is business professional. Dinner will be served.

**The ALPFA Convention is an annual event with over 3,000 attendees (70% professionals and 30% students) and is sponsored by many Fortune 1000 companies. It is an excellent opportunity to build connections in the business world and land a job or internship opportunity.
