Dear Accounting Majors: This semester, in view of the ongoing pandemic, the College has once again implemented various grading options for students, although they are not the same as they were for the prior Spring semester. The withdrawal deadline has been extended until December 23. Accordingly, if you are not satisfied with your final grade you can simply withdraw and receive a W on your transcript. You will of course have to repeat and pass the course in order to get actual credit. The traditional P/NC option has been restored this semester, however the deadline to make that election has been extended through December 13. Please remember that you cannot P/NC any courses in your major concentration. For Accounting majors this includes all Accounting, Economics, and Business courses, including your A and B elective courses. It would also include your required Computer Science course. However, you can P/NC prerequisites for these courses. For example, if you are now taking Math 122 as a prerequisite for Economics 249, you may P/NC that course. If you have any questions, as always, feel free to reach out to me directly at ProfessorMilich@aol.com<mailto:ProfessorMilich@aol.com> . Most importantly, stay safe and well during these difficult times. Professor Marvin F. Milich Director, Accounting Graduate Program Deputy Chair, Advisement
