About IMA IMA (The Institute of Management Accountants) is the worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals in business. About IMA Queens College Student Chapter The Institute of Management Accountants Students Chapter -Queens College is affiliated with the Long Island Chapter of The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Founded in March 2021 by Accounting Faculty (Jian Xiao) and her Governmental and NFP Accounting and Data Analytics Accounting Class, IMA QC student chapter, is one of the 100 students' chapters around the globe dedicated to connecting accounting, finance, and business students on and off college campuses. We engage in various activities and services including promoting of mission of Queens College and IMA, designing and hosting education events with subject matter experts from public, private, government and NFP sectors such as the FBI, Deloitte, Canon USA, Uipath and IMA influencers to help the community to enhance their real-world applicability, develop leadership skills to negotiate conflict, grand members scholarships, help members to study and pass licensing exams (CMA), and take their career to the next level.
