Dear Perspective Summer Graduates: Just a reminder that the deadline to apply for Summer graduation is rapidly approaching. The deadline is July 1, and it will not be extended. File for graduation directly on CUNYFirst. For those of you with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+, you will be receiving a Fast Track invitation to join one of our graduate programs. The invitation will be sent by email sometime in July and will generally be sent to your QC email account. Look for it. You can accept the invitation to join our standard MS in Accounting, or our new MS in Taxation. You also have the option of deferring acceptance into either program for one semester, meaning you would start in the Spring of 2023. Good luck to all of you. As I head into retirement I leave our graduate programs in good hands. Professor Sun will be the new Director of the MS in Accounting. Professor Balkaran will be the Director of our MS in Taxation. If you have any issues regarding graduation contact me of Professor David who will be taking over for me as the Deputy Chair for Advisement. This program will be held Wednesday, August 3rd and Thursday, August 4th of this year 2022. The program encompasses two full days of workshops and classes where students will learn accounting and business skills, as well as get an exclusive look inside all Citrin Cooperman has to offer. This program will be held virtually with the option to be in-person on the second day. At the end of the two days, all candidates will be able to interview for an internship in the future. Candidates that would be suitable for this program are sophomores in a 4 year program or juniors in a 5 year program.
