Dear Second Degree Undergraduate Accounting Students: Due to a change in University policy, you may now take up to 12 graduate credits (in specified courses) as a second degree undergraduate, and use these credits for both your undergraduate and graduate degrees. Yes, you heard me correctly. "Double Dipping" is now legal. In effect, this means that you can earn your graduate degree by taking as few as 18 additional credits after completing your undergraduate degree. I know that many of you, who I fondly call my Option II students, had no intention of continuing on to the Masters. However, this may change your mind. If your cumulative GPA is 3.2+, you will be invited to join the program after you file for graduation. No application is even necessary. If you have the requisite GPA and want to start taking graduate courses in the Spring, contact me via email, or simply come in and see me on January 11 or 25 from 3-7 in PH 215. I will register you on the spot. Enhance your career opportunities. Be part of this new Accelerated Masters Program. You will be glad you did. Second degree students obviously have substantially more total credits than required when including their first degree in the credit count.

A Conversation with Dr. Saul Unter Dr. Saul Unter was raised in the Bronx and graduated from the City College of New York in 1960. He attended NYU dental school and graduated in 1964. Dr. Unter served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for two years until 1966. After the Air Force Dr. Unter pursued his Orthodontic certification part time from NYU while practicing dentistry. In 1972 he opened a private partnership specializing in Orthodontics. In 1976, he opened his own private practice which he held for over 30 years. In the 1970s, he also became a successful real estate entrepreneur and is currently principal owner of the Unterschatz, LLC. Dr. Unter has been a life-long mentor and counseled countless young adults. Join us for a discussion about professional career skills, knowledge and advice.
