Write to be Read: Research, Impact, and CUNY Academic Works

As faculty at Queens College, you produce important, fascinating scholarship. So, what tools does CUNY provide to help you distribute your published work as widely as possible?

If you are interested in:

* Reaching a wider audience with your publications

*         Being cited more often

* Getting monthly reports showing how your work has been downloaded, perhaps all over the world

* Increasing your scholarly presence online
... then CUNY Academic Works is for you! Please join librarians Megan Wacha (CUNY Office of Library Services) and Nancy Foasberg (Queens College) for Write to be Read: Research, Impact, and CUNY Academic Works.
Topics will include: the benefits of making your work publicly available, navigating copyright issues, and the logistics of uploading (it's easy!).

When: October 17, 1:00-2:15
Where: Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library, room 300i (Charles J. Tanenbaum room)

For more information or to RSVP, please email nfoasberg at qc.cuny.edu<mailto:nfoasberg at qc.cuny.edu>.
