Students sometimes bring up difficult issues in class, and with the after effects of the battle between Israel and Hamas and the shootings of Black men in Ferguson, Staten Island, and other parts of the United States, honing your skills in facilitating constructive conversations in the classroom is more important than ever. Join Sophia McGee and John Vogelsang, from QC’s Center for Ethnic, Racial, & Religious Understanding (CERRU) for a four-session workshop series designed to help you develop and augment your skills in facilitating constructive conversations.

The workshop series is open to all Queens College faculty (full- and part-time). Sessions will take place in Queens Hall 325, on at 6:30pm – 8:00pm on Thursdays, February 26, March 19, March 26, and April 16.
