You are invited to lunch to discuss active learning in the classroom. Share your own strategies for engaging Queens College students and hear from colleagues across many disciplines about what works in their classes.

Date: Wednesday March 5, 2014

Time: 12:15pm-1:30pm

Location: President’s Conference Room #1, Rosenthal Library.


Lunch will be provided by the Queens College Center for Teaching and Learning.

This will be an informal meeting of faculty interested in improving their teaching, related to recent Experiential Learning workshops.  We request that participants prepare a 2-3 minute discourse about one of the following topics: (a) teaching strategies used recently or in preparation that engage students in your classroom, (b) recent teaching literature or blog posts about teaching that you would like to discuss, or (c) comments or concerns about teaching Queens College students.
